Wash capacity of a washing machine with an 8Kg drum

The above photo shows the pile of laundry ready for hanging out after the wash cycle had finished. It's piled twice as high as the wash basket itself.

The 8Kg drum capacity allows a  lot of washing to be done in one load. The picture above shows just one wash load of laundry. In the middle of the second line at the back of the picture is a rotary sock hanger with loads of socks hung up too but it's obscured on this photo.
