Compare the Dyson 7Kg drum (left) with a standard 5Kg drum
The 7Kg drum on a Dyson CR01 is 60% larger than the old fashioned 5Kg drum
On the left, a double duvet is happily being washed in the Dyson CR01 fitted with a 7Kg drum. On the right, the same duvet is forced as far as it will go into a normal washing machine with just a 5Kg drum.
It should be possible to wash a king sized duvet in a 7Kg drum.
