Thanks for the speedy reply. I was leaning towards the Hoover as I had read a few bad reviews about Hotpoint machines.

Hi, I am about to buy a washer dryer to replace my old washing machine and tumble dryer because of lack of space. I have narrowed it down to either the Hotpoint CTD 80P or the Hoover 7166 or 7148. Does anyone have any of these machines who could give some feedback or maybe general advice about either brand? Thanks
