I have just moved into a new home, where the old type cold fill pipe is in situ, and due to the awkward distance, I would like to utilise the old pipe, and join to the modern fitting behind the washing machine. The fitting has a sort of water container that I assume is to help prevent leaks or something. Is there any way I can do this, what fittings would I need ? Photos aren't brilliant sorry. Thanks.
