Decided for a Samsung. Nice machine with lots of program options. It plays a nice tune when the wash is finished too. It's much more silent than the Panasonic. The Panasonic had a terrible sound, almost like a turbine when it washed. Has to be an asian thing. This machine has also 40C as max for the bedding program.

Nice article. I have decided to return it and get a Siemens with 1400rpm for the same price. The Panasonic has 1200rpm.

My Panasonic Bedding Program has a maximum temperature of 40C. I wonder if they were drunk when they designed it. Bedding has to be washed at 60C minimum to kill all the nasty stuff?
