  1. thanks Andy - I ran it again of a 60 degree wash & at one point when I checked the door window was warmer so I can only assume it is actually heating the water. in terms of lack of water / suds then I suppose the difficult thing is that without another machine to compare it to there's really no way to know if it's 'right'. I'll take a look at the article - thanks.
  2. Hi all, I've just bought a Bosch WAB28061GB - installed today & have done a couple of loads. I'm not sure that its heating the water - the door window feels cold to the touch (washing at 60 degrees). Also, as my last washer lasted 20 + years I understand that water usage is different on new machines but how can I tell if the right amount of water is being allowed to fill the machine ? I can't see any 'pool' of water in the bottom of the door window for example & no suds (even when no conditioner is being used - which I know can reduce suds). does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on how to check these things ? ta !
