Morning All...
I have a Zoppas washing machine (brought back from Italy, made by Electrolux). Itself is 8 years old, but has only been used a handful of times as it was in a holiday home. I decided to bring it back and put it to use, but to my amazement it just wont spin. It washes and tumbles and does absolutely everything else, but just makes a low pitch humming noise whilst rotating slowly when it should be spinning. Ive had a few repair men look at it who say it needs a new motor, but Electrolux have stopped producing this induction motor and have no alternative (to my knowledge). Is there anything I need to look out for IF I could get a replacement motor? Are they all the same? Anybody got any suggestions why it could be doing this in the first place? Anyone know a way around it? I just dont want to throw it away.....
